Ballinderry, County Antrim - Anna Jane McCan, Postmaster
Distance from Dublin 90 miles
Dublin Mail arrives 6.15 a.m.
Dublin Mail despatched 5.40 p.m.
In the 1855 Directory the post mistress is listed as Anna Jane McCan. The Dublin Mail arrived then at 3.57 a.m. and was despatched at 7.50 p.m.
There is also a post office listed at Upper Ballinderry in the 1855 directory. It is situated 92 miles from Dublin. The Dublin mail arrives at 7.45 a.m. and despatched at 6.40 p.m.

Public - House and Grocery to let at Lower Ballinderry.
To let, on moderate terms, for any time agreed on, a Public-house and grocery establishment, with bar fittings &c., having a good business attached. There is suitable storage accommodation on the Premises, with Byre and a two-storey building, lately rebuilt, and has been a going concern for the past 50 years, Further information on the Premises, or to Wm.
