About 14 acres of land, in perpetuity - Rent 4s 6d per acre, part of the lands of Gortnagallon, near Langford Lodge. One half of the Purchase Money may lie at interest with the purchaser on giving security. Immediate possession will be given.

Death Notice — Samuel McBurney

The following is an extract from The Belfast Newsletter dated 12th May 1837 and is used with permission of The Belfast Newsletter.

Death

On the 8th inst in the 68th year of his age, Mr. Samuel McBurney, of Gartnagallon, Killead, County Antrim. The vast assemblage that attended his funeral, best testified the respect in which he was held by his friends and neighbours.
